Si alguna vez te has adentrado en el mundo de los hongos funcionales, sin duda has oΓ­do hablar del Chaga, el "Rey de los Hongos". Sin embargo, este tΓ­tulo majestuoso es un poco engaΓ±oso, ya que tΓ©cnicamente el Chaga no es un hongo.

En su hΓ‘bitat natural, el hongo parΓ‘sito Inonotus obliquus crece principalmente en abedules en climas frΓ­os, descomponiendo y transformando los nutrientes del Γ‘rbol en potentes compuestos curativos. Not All Chaga is Created Equal

Debunking 3Β Chaga Myths

MITO 1: El chaga cultivado y el chaga silvestre tienen los mismos beneficios

La verdad es que no es asΓ­ en absoluto. El chaga silvestre cosechado del abedul contiene altas concentraciones de Γ‘cido betulΓ­nico, un triterpenoide ΓΊnico reconocido por sus potentes propiedades antivirales y antiinflamatorias. Actualmente, se encuentra bajo la lupa cientΓ­fica por su potencial para tratar enfermedades como el VIH, la hepatitis y el cΓ‘ncer.

AdemΓ‘s, el chaga silvestre obtiene su llamativo tono "oro negro" de la melanina, un potente antioxidante que protege las cΓ©lulas cutΓ‘neas y el ADN de los rayos UV y el daΓ±o oxidativo.
